After serving nearly six years on the City Council and witnessing first-hand the snail’s pace of progress in Birmingham, I believe our city is ready for a change in the Mayor’s office.
We need a mayor who is not only honest, but who also has a vision for Birmingham’s future and the commitment and energy to implement it!
We all want efficient city services, low crime, safe, modern schools where our children receive world-class instruction, clean neighborhoods, and economic development projects that provide convenient shopping and better jobs for all of us, but particularly the 26% of Birmingham households that make less than $15,000 annually.
We must work together to make these dreams a reality. I am committed to implementing programs to address the many issues facing our city for ALL residents and I hope that you will read the Issues section of this website to learn more about my vision for a better Birmingham.
